Brazil’s U20 team has a glorious history of victories that makes South American girls one of the forces in volleyball world. The Brazilians have amassed the world champion’s tittle six times (the last one was in Thailand 2007). The yellow jersey is to be feared and respect even though has been ten years since the last time Brazil snatched the gold. Nevertheless, the team commanded by Hairton Cabral is fierce. The last edition of Women’s U20 World Championship they stand until de final, when Dominican Republic’s girls were crowned, as the Brazilian team finished as runner-up in Puerto Rico 2015. With a taller average height, the green and yellow squad has a great potential to overcome the other strong teams and be back at the top again.
