Mexico set for volleyball fiesta at FIVB Volleyball Women’s U20 World Championship
The FIVB Age Group World Championships are biennial events, with a total of six age group championships set to be held in 2017.
Established in 1977, the 19th edition of the U20 World Championships will be held in Mexico from July 14 to 23, giving future stars of the sport from 16 different countries centre stage.
The Dominican Republic won their maiden U20 title in 2015 when they overcame Brazil in the gold medal match while Italy held off Japan to claim bronze.
