Maria Vorobyeva started to play volleyball in the age of 8 in sport school SDUSHOR 21. Then she became a player of Volleyball club LUCH. She spent last season in Volleyball club Ufimochka. Maria Vorobyeva became a player of Russian Youth Girls team when she was 15 years old. She won gold of 2015 CEV U18 Volleyball European Championship - Women in Bulgaria and as a player of Russian Junior Women's team she won 2016 CEV U19 Volleyball European Championship - Women.
