 Elizaveta Kotova started to play volleyball in the age of 9 in sport school SDUSHOR in the city of Tyumen. Then she became a player of Volleyball club Tyumen, then VC LUCH. She spent last season in Volleyball club Zarechie Odintsovo. Elizaveta Kotova became a player of Russian Youth Girls team when she was 15 years old. She won 2015 CEV U18 Volleyball European Championship - Women and she awarded as a second Best Blocker. As a player of Russian Junior Women's team she won 2016 CEV U19 Volleyball European Championship - Women in Slovakia and Hungary.
