Anna Kotikova started to play volleyball in the age of 7 in sport school DUSSH in the city of Shuya. Then she became a player of Volleyball club Dinamo Kazan. Anna Kotikova became a player of Russian  Junior Girls team when she was 16 years old. She won 2016 CEV U19 Volleyball European Championship - Women in Slovakia and Hungary nd was awarded as MVP and Best Opposite of the tournament.
